EARLY TWENTIETH CENTURY FRENCH SIDEBOARD  
   
France, 1910 - 1920. All solid stock french walnut sculpted raised panel doors. Case work is assembled with brass screws and decorative washers plus mortise and tenon secured with tapered pin. Left and right ends have assymmetric shelves with elongated sculpted brackets. Sides of enclosed storage are extended with opposing brackets supporting a disk with an internal lip for the display of glazed earthenware. Hinge hardware is copper cut, drawn and hammered. Drawer pulls are cast bronze tooled and hammered. Drawers are solid stock with hand cut dovetailed faces. Door lock mechanism is copper and yellow brass (full length double throw, original condition).
